Do I need to live in Kansas City to use your digital services?

Answer

The Library's digital resources are available to cardholders in Kansas City metropolitan area counties:

In Missouri: Bates, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte and Ray
In Kansas: Franklin, Johnson, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami, Wyandotte.

Due to reciprocal borrowing agreements, Kansas City residents are also eligible to use the digital resources at other area library systems such as Johnson County and Mid-Continent. Those outside of the Kansas City area should contact the public library in their community for information about accessing their digital resources.

If you live within these counties and are still having an issue accessing an online resource, please submit your question and one of our librarians will look into the issue.
