My card expired, how do I renew it?

Kansas City Public Library accounts are set to expire every one or two years. This is to ensure that we have the most up-to-date contact information for you.

There are several ways to renew your privileges:

  1. Login to the Library Card Portal and review your contact information.
  2. Visit one of our library locations in person and talk with a librarian at the main desk
  3. Call 816.701.3400
  4. Email a Librarian
  5. Start a Live Chat with a Librarian

You may be asked to verify the following information:

  • Current Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Birth Date
