What iOS versions are supported with hoopla?
If your device us running OS 13+ you will be able to update to all the newest versions of the application with the newest features! For the best results, though, it is recommended to use the latest versions of both the operating system and hoopla app.
What Android devices does hoopla support?
We support most devices running Android 6.0 and above.
What Amazon devices does hoopla support?
We support all devices running Fire OS 6.0.0 and newer. We do not support the Kindle Paperwhite or any eReader devices like it.
Streaming Device
What versions of Fire TV are supported?
We currently support 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation devices. Device needs to run above 6.0 OS. Fire TV Cube is not currently supported.
What Apple TV devices does hoopla support?
The hoopla app is available on 4th and 5th gen devices. We support AirPlay on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen devices.
What Chromecast devices do you support?
We support casting to the 1st and 2nd generation Chromecasts, including Chromecast Ultra and Smart TVs with Chromecast built-in. Support for Chromecast Audio is coming soon!
Do you support Roku?
We offer a Roku channel for devices running 7.6.3 and higher.

What Windows operating systems does hoopla support?
We currently support Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. hoopla will not work with Windows mobile devices.
What Windows desktop browsers does hoopla support?
We currently support recent versions of Microsoft Edge, recent versions of Google Chrome and Firefox.
What Mac operating systems does hoopla support?
We currently support MacOS 11 and above.
What Mac desktop browsers does hoopla support?
We currently support recent versions of Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
